I agree with Jason, thanks for the feedback... It would be different if I took a design from yours (which I didn't) I have my own creative brain that I use. Jason, you're absolutely right, when the client wants something you do it...

Artifact, I will spend little time commenting on your petty comment. It seems you have not worked with too many clients in your "so called" design career, if you have one at that. When a client has a particular objective "or commonly used slogan in this instance" that they want to use; you do just that; meeting their expectations and desires. If I had somehow ripped off your graphics then I would understand your ethical concern. Then you might have a leg to stand on. Show me that your came up with and copyrighted the expression "Taking the Bull by the horns". I would suggest you to read and study "The Ethics of Graphic Design". Comes in handy. I'm really not one to participate in pathetic blogging but this will be the first and I hope the last.
Regards
Jason

Jay1911 Does not matter. Bottom line is ethics mean ethics regardless if you get caught. Period.

Yes, you are right... It was a contest and the time was winding down... But that design was not picked as the winner, so your idea will not be used.
Sorry for any difficulty.

There is also a vertical version of my last design #55. My illustration in this design was hand-drawn to insure uniqueness and individuality.
Thanks again for your time.

ok, i definitely think i like the "taking the bull by the horns" concept. let's see some designs that move that direction. let's see some focus on the big red mascot and bull mascot interacting.

i really like artifacts, especially the taking the bull by the horns phrase, but i also really like bam's helmet themes very much. the helmets are very "football"

these are definitely the kinds of things i am looking for. especially like the "history will be made" angle as this is an historic game for WKU and the city of Bowling Green, KY. would like to see some images with the Big Red Mascot
