Thanks Brad. Now I think I know, hehe. As they say, "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder." ;) I'm proud that it looks like a standard WP or Blogger template (I can honestly say I constructed it from scratch), 'coz not everyone can achieve that look.

I got rid of #11 because it is not in contention. It does not remind me of stopdesign on any level, I dislike the header, I dislike the font. It looks just like a standard template you could get from blogger or wordpress.

Hi Brad, . . . If it's not too much to ask, can I know the reason why you eliminated my entry? I looked at your design brief again and your comments here to see if I've blatantly violated any of your requirements. And I can only conclude that my header is 'too flashy' for your taste (though I've tried very hard to make it 'pop out,' as you've mentioned in one of the comments, without looking complicated). . . Was that it? Or did I miss something? Or did I include something that shouldn't be there? I hope you'll let me know. . . . Thanks Brad, and I wish you abundant success in your new blog. :)

You said that #6 is close but don't like colors, and You liked color scheme from #3, so i combined that and here's the result => #9, another fully editable theme. #8 is recolored theme of #6, I added new date-boxes and this just shows how easy is to replace colors in my .psd files. In full view that you have here => http://img198.imageshack.us/img198/7320/layoutfullview.jpg you can see how post looks like when having all links colored by one color, in second i made it with two, just for you to see, I also made 3 designs for date-box, so all 3 are included. all my .psd files are layered, labeled, and layers are grouped. hope you like this one :)

#6 is pretty close. I'm not crazy about the two colors of tan in the top bar. I like the icons used for facebook, twitter, rss. Are you sure I can actually implement those into wordpress? The yellow in the body text is a little bright for me. Can we tone it down a little bit. I will not use the "just another wordpress blog" all entrants can remove those from future posts. #1 I still like your idea. I think maybe if we could do a grayish color that has a tiny bit of blue in it. Your design is very simple and I still like that. I don't care for the BW in the background. I would prefer that just go away. I also like the color idea of #3 but am not crazy about the BW on the right. It looks a little too much like a robot font. Good luck! Only 9 hours left. Looks like it will be a difficult choice.

The enfluence behind my design, #4 , was to portray something that looked very sophisticated while remaining contemporary and clean. There is some subtle texturing in the images, so it's best viewed at fullsize. Also, I made sure to review these design concepts againts other wordpress designs to make sure they would work as intended. As always, any comments our questions are welcome. I don't have anything in mind for the header. I like it simple. My interests are web development, seo, ppc, entrepreneurship, kansas city chiefs, social media. The first submission looked very clean but it almost seemed black and white. I don't want tons of color but I want people to know there is nothing wrong with their monitor. I need some designs quickly.

sorry for the delay. Yes, I just want the psd. file so I can get it implemented. However, please do not use a font that I cannot get through wordpress.

Hello Brad! I too, want to know do you need only PSD (just graphics) or whole theme/template done. I have some nice ideas about theme that you require, but if you want just PSD, then You'll have to do all the coding by yourself! I'm very interested, but I, and I believe some others, want to know is this just design(only PSD) or whole WP theme with codes. Thanks!

I like #1. It might be too plain. I like what you have done with the posting and right side column. The gray on white is just too plain. I would like the top bar to pop a little more while still being simple. Also, I'm no wordpress expert but you need to make sure I can use the fonts, headings, etc that you are giving me. Keep them coming.
