Sure seems odd to buy this site and then basically turn it off. Maybe some other logo design website bought it.

I also got paid for one of my past due contests today that is weeks overdue, as well as Alisha getting paid for her recent win. Baby steps I guess. Not impressed yet.

Warning to the designers and contest holders of the Designers Contest community. This site is currently not paying out guaranteed contests. Several others are discussing the mechanics of this site being "broken". This should be a warning to contest holders to think twice about pre-paying your contests and having no results at the end. Do the research and read comments from past contests. I still have 2 outstanding "guaranteed" contests unpaid that are pushing 35-40 days overdue. Did the Fanaticaps contest pay out? Did the B-4 Play contest pay out? Still no winner chosen on the MobileCreditCardProcessing.com logo? There are hundreds of dollars tied up that are owed to designers for their hard work. Whether this is the new owner's commitment or the previous owner's really shouldn't matter to the patrons of this site. It just needs to be handled expeditiously.
