And who did I put down "Amaya"? I told Eric Harris that I meant no disrespect but you can't tell me that pretty much everyone here could have traced the image that was provided by the Contest Holder. How is that putting him down? It's great that he won with that. I just wish that if that image was so important, that it was in the creative brief or that we all knew about it somehow. You sought out and illustrated your own version as did myself and others. That was my point. I don't think I put anyone down.

Big Walt or Amaya or whatever you want to go by… I don't think anything of the sorts. You need to stop pretending that you know what people think or what they are all about. I didn't say it was "all about what I think". I was frustrated with how this particular contest played out and I voiced that. I wasn't alone in that frustration. I've never said or acted like I am "the man" as you put it. I'm confident in my design skills and have opinions that may differ from others. Nothing wrong with that right? And when did this turn into fight quest? Who is "kicking my ass" as you put it? Why must you always make your comments so personal Big Walt? If you think no one should have said anything, why did you throw in your 2 cents worth? Hypocrite. Look it up. Better yet, take a break from designing and study English for a while. Wow, some of the comments are inappropriate. I didn't "waste anyone's time." Remember, this is a competition and you voluntarily submitted your ideas. I appreciate that. If I could "award" more than one winner, I would. If people contacted me off site, I might even pay something for the design, even if it's not ultimately used. I'm not a designo. I don't know what you creative types subjectively feel is a better or worse design. If I had time to "cut and paste," well, obviously I would have done that. I haven't decided yet; had a little more important things on my mind. There are some wonderful designs and it's frankly been a difficult choice. Having said that, you need to get off your high horse(s) and realize sometimes what you perceive as a substandard design might be something that an 8 year old little girl would like. She's the one whom named the boat. Good gracious. Bill

Bill, for less than $200, you could have had any local print shop trace the image link that you provided and throw the word CREW over the top. Sorry, kind of wasted everyone's time here. Not trying to come off like a sore loser, but if you liked that image so much, you could have added it as a requirement to the creative brief or changed direction during the contest. I sought out a different image of King Neptune so I wasn't just copying a "sample" image that you provided. Congrats Eric, no disrespect to you or the CH, just a bit frustrated.

good designs so far. we like 31, 13 & 10. on number #10, the "crew" text is a bit hard to read. i like font on #31, but the water background looks like wings. more a fan of the trident than sabre. #6 and #7 a good as well.

Is there a way to post an attachment of my last design?

I'd separate the word "CREW" and put it on the bottom or something. And I'd simply entitle the boat "Crazy Daddy." The word "the" is, well, superflous. What is the blew stuff under the banner?

Ok to be clear, you want the words "The Crazy Daddy Crew" on the logo somewhere? Do you have any specific colors/fonts you'd like on it?
